Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated August 26, 2026

A Home Filled With Love is reader supported. Some links in these articles are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something after following one. What you pay does not change.

How it works in practice

Any article containing affiliate links carries a short disclosure at the top, above the first paragraph, in keeping with the endorsement guidelines published by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Nothing is buried at the bottom of the page.

What a commission does not buy

It does not buy a recommendation. Most of what I write about is old, was given to me, or was mended rather than replaced, and none of that earns anything at all. When the honest answer is that you should repair the thing you already own, that is the answer, even though it pays nothing.

Free products

If a company ever sends me something at no cost, the article it appears in says so plainly. Accepting something does not commit me to praising it, and I do not agree to let anyone approve a draft before it is published.
